My Favorite Time of Year
August 8th, 2007Now, I know October is still a couple of months away, but it is truly my favorite time of the year. Already in August, I start thinking about Halloween and what to plan for that year. This year it’s a must to start thinking about Halloween this early because Halloween the movie is being released on August 31st! I absolutely loved the original and remember it as a child when it was replayed on TV around Halloween time.
Rob Zombie is “re-imaging” the original move, it is not a sequel, it will have some prequel content and a partial remake of the original content. He is writing, producing and directing this version. Rob Zombie is probably my favorite horror movie writer right now, I loved 1,000 Corpses and The Devil Rejects’. It also looks as if Rob Zombie will be making more than 1 movie based off the class Halloween horror, mentioning he will be using some previous characters from the first 8 films and planning something with no older characters involved. The idea behind the new film is to go deeper into Michael Myers’s back story, for example the mask itself will be given its own story to provide an explanation as to why Michael wears it.
Check out the trailer for the new Rob Zombie movie and get ready for Halloween!
The soundtrack for Halloween will be in stores August 21.
Summer Heat and Dogs, Do Not Mix
August 8th, 2007A Chihuahua died after being left in a closed vehicle outside of Home Depot in Portsmouth, NE in 95-degree weather. The owner had run into Home Depot with the dog and had thrown cold water on it and put it in front of a fan in an attempt to revive it, but by the time police arrived, the dog and owner were gone.
The owner had taken the dog to a local animal hospital where it was pronounced dead. The dog death was the most serious of six calls police received Friday for dogs locked in vehicles during the scorching heat.
Please, please do not leave your pets in your vehicle in the summer in any heat. Cracking the window does not work. Only leaving them for a moment, can kill them.
The Official “Vick’s” Dog Chew Toy
August 8th, 2007Payback’s a Bitch. A toy to give payback to the alleged dogfighting Atlanta Falcon’s quarterback, Michael Vick.
The Official “Vick’s” Dog Chew Toy
Vick’s Dog Chew Toy is made of state of the art “dog” material. The Vick’s Toy Doll is so strong and flexible, it will challenge every breed. Especially The Pit Bull.
Unlike other toys, our manufacturer is so sure of its durability they guarantee it against the most playful dog destruction. It Bends. It Bounces. It Flies. It Floats. And best of all, it lasts through the whole season and more!
Just awesome. Enjoy.
Zoo Removes Tiger’s Teeth for Better Interaction
August 6th, 2007Somewhere in Asia in an unnamed zoo, a tiger has been chained up and had its two large teeth pulled. All so that visitors can take pictures with the animal and not worry about being bitten.

Additionally a bear has a chain through it’s nose so that if it was to attempt to bite someone the mouth could be controlled.
