Pets come for the fun at Paws in the Park
Friday, July 13th, 2007Hundreds attended the ninth annual Paws in the Park Festival and Pet Walk at Blalock Park in Venice. The event is a benefit for the Suncoast Humane Society. The Interact Club helps organize the event with a bake sale. The event offered pet adoptions, live entertainment, arts and crafts, a kid’s play area, food, vendors, pet contests, a doggie pool, a dog fashion show and a pet walk.
Other groups that attended the event included Venice Florida Corvette Club, Basset Rescue, Paw Prints Thrift Store, Open Gaits 4-H Club and the Parrot & Exotic Bird Rescue.
