Next time you’re at the dog park
Tuesday, December 5th, 2006So you’re out with your dog at the local doggie park and you meet another dog lover, but you can’t write down their contact information and they probably don’t have a business card, what do you do? You’re out shopping at the grocery store or the pet store and you run into someone who is an animal lover too, or they are involved with pet rescue or fdog fostering and you don’t have a convenient way to take down their information to contact them later, they probably don’t have a business card either.
One thing to do is check out BrainCast, and you won’t have that problem again! I signed up for BrainCast and have been testing it out recently. It is still in the beta stage so they are still in the process of developing the application, but it is working great for me. BrainCast is essential a memo service, but all you need is your cell phone (or home phone) and an 800 number provided by the service. So anywhere you are, all you have to do it call the 800 number, wait for the beep, and record your message. The message is then saved online and you simply login to your account whenever you want to check your messages to listen to the audio. You can also forward any messages to other people who you might want to share the information with, as well as sort all messages into different categories for easy storage like seperating your work and personal events.
BrainCast is pretty simple to use and you won’t miss out on keeping in touch with a new friend again!
