Wednesday, November 15th, 2006Ever wanted to make your dog or cat their very own natural biscuits? I ran across this recipe site listing a large assortment of recipes for humans and pets! They have very simple recipes for Dog Treats, and they look pretty good! One of the best features about the BigOven Recipe Archive is the ability to sort by ingrediants you may have on hand. It has an extensive database of information about all sorts of cooking ingredients and links to more information if you want to learn about them.
Say I wanted pork chops for dinner, with cheese and garlic as the ingredients… You simply enter the ingredients you want, it displays all available recipes with those ingredients and you can browse through them. If you decide that maybe you want to know a bit more about garlic, you can click on the garlic picture on the left-hand side or in the ingredients list and it will go to a page displaying the “Top 10 Recipes” that have garlic and any information you wanted to know about garlic itself!
They also have BigOven Recipe Software – 160,000 Recipes you can download to your computer to try out.
